About This Recipe
Lean ground turkey with green beans, spinach, and chili garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 pound Green Beans (roughly chopped)
- 6 oz bag Baby Spinach (roughly chopped)
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil (divided)
- 1/4 cup 64g Tomato Paste
- 2 Tablespoons 42g Honey
- 2 Tablespoons 30g Chili Garlic Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons 30g Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons 30g Rice Vinegar
- 1/3 cup Water
- 4 Green Onions (thinly sliced (using only the white part and reserving the green for garnish))
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the green beans to the pan and cook for 2 minutes untouched before tossing in the pan. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until bright green and blistered in spots. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
- Heat the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in the skillet before adding the ground turkey. Cook the turkey for 3-4 minutes without breaking apart until one side is golden brown. Use a spatula to break the turkey apart into crumbles and fully cook.
- Add the sauce to the cooked ground turkey. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
- Add the chopped spinach and green beans. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring everything together, until the spinach wilts and everything is coated in the sauce.
- Remove from the heat and serve over rice.
