About This Recipe
This Cilantro Lime Rice is a Chipotle style recipe that you can batch prep to put in Snack City in your freezer for quick and easy burrito bowls.
Ingredients
- 3.5 cups jasmine rice
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp salt
- .25 cups chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Wash your rice until the water runs clear and cook it using your preffered method. I use a rice cooker.
- While your rice is cooking wash and chop your cilantro into small pieces.
- Once your rice has finished cooking, add the butter, lime juice, cilantro, and salt to taste.
- ### Storage
- Once you're happy with the flavor of your rice, spread it out on a parchment lined sheet pan and fluff it up to loosen the grains. Place into the freezer uncovered until frozen solid.
- Once frozen, break into pieces and place into containers for long term storage.
- ### Nutrition
- My total yield was 1455g. That means each serving will have 145g to match the nutritional estimates on the recipe.
- The total nutritional estimate for the recipe would be 2492 calories, 515g carbs, 46.6g protein, 27.1g fat. You can divide your total yield by these values if you wish to get a per gram value.
