Ground Beef Taco Meat

About This Recipe

This ground beef taco meat is easy to make and so delicious. Made with just 6 simple ingredients, ready in 15 minutes, and packed with flavor, it will be your go-to for tacos, burritos, salads, and more! Gluten-free and dairy-free.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onions ((120 grams))
  • 1 pound lean ground beef ((I used 90/10))
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons beef or chicken broth
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute onion. Heat a large skillet over medium heat, add oil, and let it get hot. Add onions, salt, and pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
  2. Brown your meat. Add ground beef and break it up. Saute for 3-4 minutes. Add taco seasoning, tomato paste, broth, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine. Let simmer for another 2-3 minutes until browned and everything is evenly incorporated.
  3. Enjoy! Use in tacos, taco bowls, salads, or however you like.
